My Sexy Saturday

Are you enjoying “My Sexy Saturday”? ( http://mysexysaturday.blogspot.com/ )  It's been fun picking out excerpts from my works to showcase, and I have a bunch more all lined up.

In this week's snippet from my WIP “Mountains and Skyscrapers”, businessman Michael grasps the situation in his own way.  Enjoy!

Michael was making love to Elle.  No, scratch that, he was fucking her.  Her warm bare skin smelled of cinnamon and pine and her breath came in raspy gasps near his ear.  They turned over, and she sat up, straddling him as she grinded her hips roughly against him. Her hair was wild in the glow of the light shining through the slit in the motel room’s curtains, and he cupped her bare breasts in his palms.  This was raw, pure sex.

“Holy hell, baby!” He growled, suddenly pulling her down forcefully to kiss her.

Her hand accidently hit the clock radio on the hotel nightstand, turning it on.  He groped in the darkness to turn it off but hit the light switch instead.

The bed was empty, it had been a dream!  The hotel phone was ringing.  He shook his head and reached for it.

     “Hello?”  He questioned raspily

“Good morning, this is your 6am wake up call,” a male voice said cheerfully on the other end of the line before it went dead.

“Thanks,” he grumbled, then hung up the phone and lay back straight on the bed, his erection throbbing tightly against the sheet. Randall was going to be picking him up in a half hour so they could meet the rest of the guys for breakfast before the hike.  He rubbed his hands through his hair and over his face then glanced at the clock.  He wished he had time to go back to sleep and finish his dream, but settled for a quick self-pleasuring session instead, something he hadn’t felt like doing in a very long time.

My Sexy Saturday

“My Sexy Saturday" ( http://mysexysaturday.blogspot.com/ ) gets hot-sauce-hot today in the lobby of a BBQ restaurant as Elle and Michael from my WIP “Mountains and Skyscrapers” size each other up.  Elle thinks she has businessman Michael all figured out, but does she?  She’ll have to figure him out soon, since he wants to buy her business.

Elle watched Michael shuffle from one foot to another while leaning against the counter in the lobby of the BBQ restaurant. She usually went for the more rugged type yet there was something about him that intrigued her despite the fact that she wanted to shove his last offer up his ass.  No, his nose, rather.  His ridiculously sunburned, peeling nose! Better to leave his ass out of the equation, it might throw her thinking askew.

She cleared her throat as the seconds ticked by and eyed him up and down as he had eyed her only moments before.  He wore black shoes, gray slacks and a monogrammed white dress shirt, rolled up at the sleeves.  Her gaze lingered here and there as she sized him up and formed an opinion.

Michael Williams was a soft city boy, and she was willing to bet he not only got regular manicures, but perhaps even indulged in the occasional man facial.  She determined that he had rolled up his sleeves in anticipation of not getting BBQ sauce on his expensive designer white dress shirt.

Then her gaze traveled to his eyes, which were staring back into hers.

She had been caught!  But, something primal lurked just below the surface of his gaze.  It was as if she were looking into the eyes of a caged animal.  Not one that had been born in a zoo, but one that had been captured in the wild then placed in captivity.

Perhaps he hadn’t always been a city boy?

His eyes blinked and the spell was broken.

My Sexy Saturday

Things are heating up at ( http://mysexysaturday.blogspot.com/ ).  So many great authors are participating!

This Saturday, the sexiness continues between Emily and Aiden in my short story “The Plane Truth”, available for FREE on Smashwords with the code# QA52X   .

“You have walls up, I can see that.  But, I have a wrecking ball.  Two in fact.”  His lips spread in a mischievous grin.

“Ah, do you now?”  Emily nodded and grinned back at him.

“May I kiss you, Emily Sutton?”

Emily felt her cheeks warm.  “Um, can you repeat the question?”

He didn’t.  He leaned over and kissed her, tentatively at first, then more solid.

Emily melted into his kiss, parting her lips and allowing his tongue to delve into her mouth.  Her heart beat loudly behind her ears and she suddenly felt overwhelmed and broke the kiss.  She looked into his eyes and licked her lips pensively.

“I’ve wanted to do that for a long time,” he said.

Questions...questions...?

When you have writer's block how do you break free?
I go for a hike.  Walking puts me into kind of an “automatic pilot” zone, and it clears all the static clouding my thoughts.  When I’m not worried about anything but putting one foot in front of the other, my thoughts flow easier and I’m able to organize them.

My Sexy Saturday

Don’t you just love the name “My Sexy Saturday ( http://mysexysaturday.blogspot.com/ )?  Yes, that’s right!  “My Sexy Saturday” is a blog hop designed for authors to showcase sexy bits of their stories for your enjoyment (7 words, 7 sentences, or 7 paragraphs).   So, indulge in a bit of sexiness today!

In this excerpt from “The Plane Truth”, Emily meets Aiden for the first time… and is rendered speechless.

     He turned.  It wasn’t Peter.

Her gaze traveled quickly down the stranger’s body and back up as he walked the few steps toward her.  Wearing jeans, a leather jacket and carrying a red motorcycle helmet, he looked like he just stepped off a movie set and belonged at … “Ace Models is three doors to the left,” she offered.

He smiled and stretched out his hand.  “Emily, I presume?”

She cocked her head to the side and nodded, her mouth slightly agape.

     “I’m Aiden Masterson.”

Their handshake lasted a bit longer than it should have as the information registered.   He wasn’t quite the character she had been expecting to show up when Richard informed her the CEO of an investment firm was coming in to discuss the design of a new office building.

Their meeting wasn’t scheduled for another hour and Richard was out on a sales call.  She glanced at the clock on the wall and tried to compose herself before meeting his hazel eyes again.
